Gov. Obaseki Celebrates #CHIVIDO’24, As Flood Kills 12-Year-Old In Benin [VIDEO]

Five days ago, flood swept a 12 year old girl to her untimely death in Ugbor GRA, Benin City.

Report has it that she was sent to get vegetables from the market when all of a sudden it began to rain.

In a bid to navigate the perennial flooding problem that has become the daily reality of Benin residents under Governor Godwin Obaseki, the 12-year old girl met her untimely death.

When the news of the incident broke out, there have been no statement, to atleast, empathize with the deceased family from the failed government.

Rather, our Governor is currently in Lagos attending the wedding, albeit uninvited, of Afro beat super star David Adeleke and his lovely wife Chioma.

The only other governor sighted at the occasion is Nurudeen “Micheal”-Jackson Ademola Adeleke, a prolific dancer, an uncle to the groom, a socialite and the governor of the groom’s home state of Osun, and a small cameo from the Ogun state governor.

Every other governor remained in their abode to attend to the needs of their people; worthy of mention is the Governor of the bride Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
