The Edo state Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye has promised to provide adequate security for businesses to thrive in the state.
Adegboye made the promise when he visited a popular hotel and relaxation spot in Benin, Playhouse Hotel, Okhoro.
The Commissioner noted that in ensuring businesses thrive in the state, the police will also securing employment.
He also assured that that the law enforcement agency will be civil in dealing with the public.
He said “I have come to associate with this employer of Labour (referring to the MD of Playhouse), with what I have seen, I can see hundred of people been employed.
“We want to assure all law abiding citizens to come and enjoy themselves in a place like this (referring to playhouse hotel)
“We want people to feel free to enjoy their nightlife”
In response, the Managing Director of Playhouse Hotel, Chief Osahon Airhunmwunde appreciates the Commissioner of Police for his visit to his facility, while stating that his visit has further embolden him to continue to invest in the state.
