The Chairman of the House Committee on Legislative Compliance and APC House of Representatives candidate for Ovia Federal Constituency, Hon. Dennis Idahosa has emerged the winner in the Presidential and National Assembly Election held yesterday.
Idahosa, won the election by a total vote of 19,851 to his closest rival of PDP, Miss Omosede Igbinedion who scored 18,396. The Labour Party candidate, Dr (Mrs) Osayuki Ekpelle Asemota came third with a total vote of 17,608.
The result was announced by Professor Nosakhare Ekhosuehi at the Council hall, Iguobazuwa, Ovia south west local government, the Ovia federal constituency Collation Centre.
Infopowerng recalls that Dennis Idahosa defeated Igbinedion in 2019 as a sitting member to represent his people.
