The Nigerian police force has arrested a vigilante officer who forcefully slept with a 14 years old girl in Nasarawa state. It was reported that the young man raped the little girl after lying to her that her grandmother has asked him to punish her for allegedly stealing her money.
The young man who’s said to be one of the vigilante members in the community met the girl and accused her of theft, but the girl denied doing it. It was also reported that the girl was brought to the community to take care of her grandmother who wasn’t able to take care of herself.
So the man used the fabricated lies to tell the girl that her grandmother had ordered him to punish her. He asked her to sleep with him if she doesn’t wanna be punished. The girl refused to sleep with the man, as she also claimed never to be involved in the theft. The young man threatened to lock her up, but she still declined his proposal to sleep with her.
He later locked her up in their general office and came back into the office where he locked her up. Then he raped her in the office at the late hour of 3 am. The grandmother on the other hand debunked the lies that she sent someone to punish her grandchild, she also said that her grandchild never stole from her.
