The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ugu Ward in Orhionmwon local government area of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Aigbogun have been reportedly kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
He was reportedly kidnapped on his way from his farm, Monday evening.
Confirming the report, a chieftain of the APC in Ugu, he said “I have just been informed that the APC Chairman in Ugu Ward (9) of Orhionmwon Local Government Area was kidnapped this evening on his way from the farm in our village , Ologbo-nugu , my place of birth, by suspected Fulani herdsmen . The scene of crime is under the Iguelaba Police Division close to both Urhonigbe and Ugo Police Divisions.
