Many influential Nigerian politicians are now encouraging their children to go into politics and one of them is Lai Mohammed, the incumbent Minister of Information and Culture and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
His son, Folajimi Lai-Mohammed is currently a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikeja I Constituency of Lagos State and also the Chairman, Committee on Energy & Mineral Resources.
Just like his father, Folajimi Lai-Mohammed also studied Law. He is a graduate of Law from the prestigious University of Kent in the United Kingdom while his father bagged his Law degree from the University of Lagos.
Folajimi Lai-Mohammed, in an exclusive interview with Punch Newspaper in 2017 stated that his father did not influence his journey into politics. He attributed his political sojourn to his strong will, determination and bravery.
