The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has confirmed and issued a letter of official recognition to the traditional ruler of Otuo Kingdom, HRM, Ovie Godfrey Agbogun Alabi, the Uzoyari II.
The royal father disclosed this weekend in a special appreciation to the people of Otuo and the state government on his peaceful ascension to the throne.
Blueprint reports that Chief Godfrey ascended the throne recently in a peaceful traditional rulership transition in accordance with the customs and culture of Otuo clan from the Isiokha/Ighera ruling house.
In his appreciation letter titled, “Special Gratitude To The Good People of Otuo”, the royal father also gave glory to God for the seamless and unprecedented Chieftaincy Transition in Otuo land.
While thanking the people of Otuo for their massive, overwhelming support and prayers, the monarch urged them to continue to live in harmony and peaceful coexistence for the rapid development of the kingdom.
