Former Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong has arrived at the National Assembly ahead of his swearing-in as the Senator representing Plateau South.
Lalong arrived at the National Assembly complex on Wednesday morning in the company of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
He is set to be sworn in as the lawmaker representing Plateau South Senatorial District during Wednesday’s plenary by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Infopowerng had earlier reported that Lalong has officially resigned his appointment as the Minister of Labour and Employment in the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu.
