Hon. Joseph Ayegbeni Ugheoke, Executive Director of Commercial & Environmental Development at the South South Development Commission (SSDC), has been appointed as a member of the Venue Committee for the forthcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention.
The appointment places Ugheoke among key party stakeholders tasked with overseeing one of the most critical components of the convention’s planning process.
The committee is expected to prepare the convention venue, branding, staging, utilities, accessibility and ensure readiness for all convention activities
Political observers note that the role underscores growing recognition of Ugheoke’s administrative and organizational capacity, particularly in managing large-scale development and environmental projects within the South-South region. His experience in commercial coordination and infrastructure oversight at the SSDC is anticipated to add strategic value to the committee’s work.
The APC National Convention is a major event in the party’s calendar, bringing together delegates, party leaders, and stakeholders from across the country to elect new National officers, deliberate on policy directions and internal party matters.
Ugheoke’s appointment is seen as both a responsibility and a vote of confidence in his leadership capabilities within the party’s broader organizational framework.
