The Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako Central Local Government Area, Hon. Goodluck Momodu, has pledged to make youth and women empowerment the cornerstone of his administration if elected Chairman.
Speaking to supporters , Momodu assured residents that development projects would be evenly distributed across all wards in the local government.
Widely seen as a frontrunner in the race, the APC aspirant outlined plans to create sustainable opportunities for young people and women through structured skills acquisition programmes, small business funding initiatives, and inclusive economic policies.
He emphasized that meaningful development cannot be achieved without investing in the productive population.
“I am committed to equipping our youths and women with practical skills, financial backing, and genuine opportunities for growth. We will stimulate job creation, strengthen small businesses, and attract manufacturing and production companies that will boost employment and increase internally generated revenue,”
He further revealed plans to revitalize the agricultural sector, positioning Etsako Central as a major food production hub capable of generating wealth for farmers and stimulating the local economy.
On security, the chairmanship hopeful pledged to collaborate with security agencies and community leaders to address insecurity and ensure a peaceful environment where residents can live and sleep without fear.
