In a surprising turn of events, the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious at the polling unit of 2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
At the polling unit, APC’s Nicholas Ukachukwu secured 73 votes, edging out Labour Party’s George Moghalu, who garnered 57 votes. The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) trailed behind with 38 votes.
The result has sparked conversations across political circles, given the symbolic weight of APC’s win at Obi’s own polling unit.
