Edo Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa has extolled the virtues of Oba Ewuare II on the occasion of the monarch’s 9th coronation anniversary.
In a goodwill message to celebrate the occasion, the deputy governor described his reign so far as “peaceful and prosperous.”
He further described the revered monarch as a beacon of peace, unity, and progress whose reign has brought tremendous transformation to the ancient kingdom.
“Today i join the sons and daughters of the Benin Kingdom in celebrating the 9th coronation anniversary of the revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II N’Ogidigan, Oba of Benin.
“Umogun, I congratulate you as you celebrate the glorious occasion of your 9th coronation anniversary.
“It is my prayer that the legacy of peace, harmony, prosperity, steadfastness, and progress which the Kingdom has witnessed during your reign will endure forever, even as Almighty God blesses you with robust health and many more years of fulfillment,” he said.
Idahosa concluded by commending Oba Ewuare II for his uncommon patriotism, piety, and sterling leadership qualities.
He described these as enduring values that continue to inspire the government’s efforts toward the transformation and development of Edo State.
