VIDEO: I Used To Run Errands For Don Jazzy, D’Banj

Grammy-nominated afrobeats star, Davido, has opened up about his early days in the music industry, sharing a nostalgic memory of when he used to run errands for music heavyweights, Don Jazzy and D’Banj.

In a viral video that surfaced on Tuesday, the Unavailable crooner revealed that between 2007 and 2009, he often found himself freestyling for the Mo’Hits duo at his father’s house in Atlanta, before being sent on food runs.

“In Atlanta, 2007 or 2008 or 2009… In my father’s house, I was freestyling for Don Jazzy and D’Banj. He sent me to go and buy McDonald’s with my papa car, Rolls Royce,” he said.
