Democracy Day: Idahosa assure of good governance in Edo

Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy Governorship candidate for the September 21 election in Edo state has assured of good governance in the state when voted into office.

The Ovia federal constituency representative stated this in his Democracy Day message titled: “Democracy Day Message of Encouragement and Hope for the People of Edo State.”

In the statement made available to newsmen in Benin on Wednesday, Idahosa urged that the day should be used to reflect on the enduring spirit of the nation and Nigerians unwavering determination.

He further noted that it was a day celebrate the resilience and strength of the nation’s democracy that have withstood numerous challenges and continued to grow stronger.

The lawmaker make appeal to the people of Edo State not to despair as Sen. Monday Okpebholo led administration will end their pains of the seven years inflicted by the present administration in the state.

He said that Okpebholo government will implement policies that will drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, enhance education, and provide quality healthcare.

Idahosa said the goal is to create an environment where businesses can thrive, create jobs, and provide the environment where every citizen has the opportunity to achieve their potential.

However, we cannot achieve this without your support. As we approach the forthcoming polls, I humbly seek your trust and your votes.

“Your support is crucial in making our vision a reality. Together, we can build a prosperous Edo State where every individual has the chance to succeed.

“Sen. Monday Okpebholo and I are committed to transparent governance, accountability, and inclusive development.

“We pledge to work tirelessly to address the issues that matter most to you and to ensure that the dividends of democracy are felt in every corner of our state.

“In these trying times of financial instability, I extend my heartfelt message of encouragement and hope to every citizen of Edo State.

“I understand the hardships many of you are facing, from economic struggles to social challenges. However, I firmly believe that together, we can overcome these difficulties and emerge stronger,” he stated.

He also assured his immediate constituents, Ovia, of more of positively development.
