BREAKING: Senate Approves 45 of President Tinubu's 48 Ministerial Nominees [Details]

The Senate has approved the appointment of 45 ministerial nominees sent to the chamber by President Tinubu.

Infopowerng reports that the nominees were approved on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Among those whose nomination was approved are is Nyesom Wike (Rivers).

The screening of the nominees began on July 27, 2023, when Tinubu sent the first list of 28 nominees to the Senate.

Six days later, the president forwarded an additional 20 names to make the total number of ministerial nominees 48.
