Tinubu meets with Buhari ahead of running mate unveiling

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is presently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in his residence in Daura, Katsina.

Aminu Bello Masari, governor of Katsina, who is also present at the meeting, was among the delegation to receive Tinubu when he arrived in the state.

Tinubu’s Sallah visit to Daura comes amid a heightened expectation of the announcement of his running mate.

Infopowerng had earlier reported that Tinubu would brief the president on his chosen running mate during the visit.

The former two-term Lagos state governor won the party’s ticket at the June 8 special national convention and presidential primary election.
