Comrade Victor Okhaimo an aspirant under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the House of Representatives Etsako Federal Constituency felicitates with Christians all over the globe on the occasion of Good Friday.
Okhaimo, in a statement issued on Friday, urged Nigerians to engage only in activities that would enhance peace and harmony in their immediate environment and beyond, in the true spirit of the season.
He urged Christian faithfuls in Nigeria and around the globe that as they mark the resurrection of Christ, they should use the period to work and pray for the country’s revival as well as it’s unity.
That they should not also relent in their efforts at promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence amongst the populace, especially as the government is doing all it can to stem the tide of insecurity in the country.
That as people of faith, we must not forget that the two major religions are emphatic about peace, we need to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst us and not to allow the enemies of our dear nation to prevail.
The House of Representatives member hopeful under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said the character of Jesus Christ, “who is the main reason for the season, should reflect in the life of every Christian”.
