The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ovia South west and Ovia North east Local Government Areas have congratulated Sen. Monday Okpebholo as Governorship candidate of the party and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa as his running mate.
In a statement jointly signed by both LGA party Chairmen, Hon. Emmanuel Ogbomo of Ovia south west and Hon. Oscar Aghedo of Ovia north east, they described Okpebholo as a person who possesses a significant amount of humility that warms the heart and has the capacity to convince anyone that he has the welfare of Edo people at heart and will leave no stone unturned to ensure a better life for them.
They further describe his running mate and the member representing Ovia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa’s nomination as a round peg in a round hole.
The statement reads, “On behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) members in our local governments we wish to congratulate Senator Monday Okpebholo on his emergence as our party Governorship candidate
“Our governorship candidate is a person who possesses a significant amount of humility that warms the heart and the capacity to convince anyone that he has the welfare of Edo people at heart and will leave no stone unturned to ensure a better life for them.
They further said “Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa is not new to us, his selection can be best described as round peg in round hole. He is a political political asset who has proven to be the people’s man
