The Edo State Government has announced a key cabinet redeployment, with the Commissioner for Works, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, reassigned to the Ministry of Water Resources.
The decision, approved by Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, is part of ongoing administrative adjustments aimed at strengthening service delivery across ministries.
The announcement formally issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, takes immediate effect.
Following the redeployment, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works will assume leadership of the ministry in an acting capacity until a new commissioner is appointed.
