The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Mr. Iseghohimen Stephen Okoror as the new Solicitor General of Edo State.
The announcement, made through a statement signed by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., Secretary to the State Government, stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Mr. Okoror, a seasoned legal practitioner, holds a Law degree from the University of Uyo and began his career as a State Counsel in Niger State. He currently serves as the Legal Adviser to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State and has previously rendered legal advisory services at both the state and local government levels.
A respected member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria), Mr. Okoror is also a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
His appointment is seen as part of Governor Okpebholo’s ongoing effort to strengthen the state’s justice system and ensure effective legal representation in government affairs.
