The coordinator of Ovia South West local government campaign team, Prof. Omorodion Ikponwonsa has congratulated the Ovia federal constituency representative elect, Hon Omosede Igbinedion, on her Saturday’s electoral victory.
The coordinator also commended the deputy governor of Edo state, Hon Dennis Idahosa, for his tireless efforts in leading the campaign team across various communities of the federal constituency.
Ikponmwosa said that the constituents are optimistic that the synergy displayed by both the deputy governor and the lawmaker elect during the electioneering would translate into the overall development of the Ovia federal constituency.
He particularly commedned the passion of the deputy governor for the development of the area.
“Most importantly, we have not fear that both the deputy governor and our House of Representatives elect will delivered the needed divide dividends of democracy to the constituents.
“They are not new on this terrain. They have collectively, at different times, as members of the Green chamber, impacted positively to the development of Ovia federal constituency.
“Again, since his election as the state’s deputy governor, Idahosa has continued to champion the course of seeing to the transformation of Ovia.
“It is in that spirit that we congratulate our federal lawmaker elect on her victory and also prayed for the continual collaboration between her office and that of the deputy governor for the betterment of our federal constituency,” he stated.
The APC coordinator further commended other leadership of the APC in Edo South senatorial district for their overwhelming support before and during the campaign.
Notable among the leaders he singled out was the former deputy governors, Chief Lucky Imasuen and Dr Pius Odubu, as well as the Senator Matthew Urhoghide.
