…Victory Party To Hold October 1st, 2024
The leadership of the All Progressives Congress In Ofunmwegbe Ward 5 of Ovia North East Local government area of Edo State have Commended Honourable Charity Amayaenvbo for the immeasurable role he played in ensuring a landslide victory for the APC in the just concluded Edo Governorship election.
At a post election leadership meeting held yesterday 25th September, 2024 in Igiuero community had in attendance the entire leadership of APC Ofunmwegbe ward 5.
Some of the leaders namely,

BAKARE IDOWU Assistant LGA secretary, Dr. Imasuen Festus, Alfred Omoregie,
Uwuigbe success and others hailed Hon Charity Amayaenvbo for uncommon loyalty to the party and his winning spirit.
Ofunmwegbe Ward 5 had emerged best performing ward among the 13 wards in Ovia North East local government area in the just concluded governorship election with the All Progressives Congress, APC scoring a total of APC 960 votes, to defeat the People Democratic Party, PDP that recorded 388 votes and Labour Party with 42 votes, with a net difference APC won the ward ( Ofunmwegbe) with 572 Votes.
At The Unit Level in the whole of Ovia North East Local Government Area, Ofunmwegbe Ward 5 also came first with IGUERO OBA EWUARE 11 PRIMARY SCH UNIT 13, scoring APC 227 votes, PDP 019 votes and LP 04 votes. APC won the Unit 13 with over 208 votes.
Hon Charity Amayaenvbo who is leading by example in grassroot politics voted in unit 12 at Iguero Oba Ewuare II, and garnered 99 Votes for the APC, whereas the PDP only got 34 votes, and Labour Party, one vote.
Amayaenvbo won his unit for APC with over 65 votes.
The leaders including the ward chairman, Mr Imalele Stephen said but for Hon Charity Amayaenvbo working with other leaders, APC would have lost Ofunmwegbe ward.
They said Hon Charity Amayanvbo and other leaders stood their grounds and ensured that the oppressors could not intimidate and suppressed the votes of the APC in Ofunmwegbe ward.
They congratulated the Governor-Elect Senator Monday Okpebholo and Deputy Governor-Elect, Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa for their victory at the polls.
They expressed optimism that a new Edo that will be the envy of other states would rise soon.
Meanwhile, the ward victory party to celebrate The Victory Of Sen Monday Okpebholo and ovia illustrious son, Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa as Governor and deputy Governor of Edo State will hold on Ist of October, 2024.
The statement concludes by commending the National and State Leadership of the APC for ensuring that Edo People votes counted despite initial threats from the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki People.
Indeed the majority has their say and have their way as the People’s will prevailed.
