Member representing Ovia Federal Constituency and APC Deputy Governorship Candidate for Edo election, RT Hon Dennis Idahosa felicitates with Christians across the state as they commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin by the lawmaker who is the chairman House Committee on Health Care Services in the green chamber.
In his message, Idahosa noted that Easter is a time of renewal and new beginnings, and he encouraged the people of Ovia Federal Constituency and the state in general to embody the values of tolerance, love, and sacrifice in their daily lives.
He stressed the importance of these values in fostering peace and harmony within the constituency and the entire state.
He urged Christians in the state and Nigeria at large to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the country and success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
”I appeal to all Christian to embrace virtues of sacrifice, patience, love and abiding faith for a better Nigeria which has been symbolized in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ,” he appealed.
The occasion of Easter, he said, teaches mankind two things “good things never end and true love never dies.”
According to him, “This is a time to pray to God and ask him to shower endless love, joy, and peace in our dear nation.”
