We may end up not having a candidate.
With 3 results announced in a single primaries.
Yes, they may claim that they went back to correct themselves, unfortunately, they went back to destroy themselves more.

On the 17th February 2024 , the party on receiving information that someone claims to be a State returning officer which is allien to our party constitution was announcing results , the APC NWC quickly issued out a letter stating clearly that only the results announced by Governor Hope Uzodima will be accepted. Which means the result that was announced by any other persons or source is null and void.

Now, few days latter the APC reeled out yet another ambiguous letter that they want to come back to Benin to “complete ” the “process ” take note of those two words.

First, what exactly were you completing? Is the elections or the collation and announcements of results?

If it was to complete the elections, where , in which Wards have you declared the elections inconclusive?

Under which power did Governor Otu who replaced Uzodima in a live video clip cancelled the 17th elections? If he doesn’t have such powers, then the said activities of the 22nd whether elections or collations will be nullity because the ambiguous letter from the NWC never said re-conducting of any elections or cancellation of that of the 17th.

In the same strength the NWC letter stating that only the Hope Uzodima announced results would be acceptable to them had automatically cancelled whatever results announced anywhere in the world relating to APC 17th primaries elections.

So, the only result that was still legitimate and that could be moved to the actual venue for “completion” and then announcement would be that of Governor Hope Uzodima.

Ok, let us say Uzodima’s location of announcements was wrong as some of you are saying.

There is no law preventing the APC sending Uzodima or even his replacement which was Governor Otu to reconvene in the right venue to re-echoled and complete Uzodima’s results announcement process which was what the APC letter seems to mean and nothing else.

Otu and the NWC can not claim before the Court that:

They continued with what was announced on the 17th by any other person than Uzodima, Uzodima’s results had 40k plus for the highest person Whilst Otu who came back to Benin on the 22nd had 12k plus for another person. If , as stated by the NWC that, only Uzodima result is what they would accept and the first primaries according to their letter to go and complete the 17th process, which of the process has Governor Otu completed? If it is that of Uzodima, how did the results from 40k for the winner disappeared and pruned to 12k on the 22nd and given to another person?

In summary;

1. Nwc said only Uzodima’s announced results will be acceptable to them.

2. NWC letter never said any elections was cancelled or re elections in certain Wards or areas of Edo State.

3. Governor Otu who replaced Uzodima on the 22nd doesn’t have any power to cancell or set ground for any re elections. Only the NWC has such powers.

Governor Otu in a live video evidence cancelled and called for a total re elections in Benin without any authorization and relevant notices from/by the NWC in comfimity with both the APC constitution and the electoral laws of the Land.

These Abracadabra will render APC out of the 2024 Gubernatorial elections.
