The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said “Edo is an APC State”.
Ganduje while speaking during a meeting, organized by the National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress (NWC-APC) at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja emphasized that they have to win the upcoming Governorship Election in Edo State because as the greatest political party in Africa, it was not acceptable to have only one State from the South Southern part of Nigeria.
Now we have to take Edo back.
We have only one state from the South-south for the greatest party in Africa; it is not acceptable. We were able to get only Criss River State. After crossing so many rivers we succeeded in getting Cross River State.”
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje emphasized that they have to improve their internal democracy, they have to deepen and widen it. He also added that they need the party philosophy and ideology.
