Edo 2024: Bringing Leadership To Governance, “The Denco Way”

Edo State with nearly 5m Population, about $10b in GDP, annual budgets of N325b for 2024, with vast agricultural potential, solid and industrial minerals deposit, housing two of the biggest cement companies in Africa, with the two biggest palm oil Processing outfits in Nigeria, largest Gas deposit in Africa and with 70% Youthful Population demography is grappling with all sorts of Multidimensional poverty index cards, a near zero infrastructural direction across board, unemployment and poor access to Education and can’t leverage on the gains of the 21st century Information technologies all because we have failed to desire, work and entrench a dynamic Political leadership in the State to catalyze Good governance deliveries!! In whatever Prism we decides to look at it, Coordinated and Properly organized leadership in government is the most potent ingredient of good governance.

Leadership is a talent for transformation: the ability to bring out the best in others for the greater good of all.

There is a recognition of the importance of leadership – of people who can instill a sense of moral and social responsibility into their every activity and who can build communities of common ideas and ideologies.

It means inspiration and illumination – guiding others through personal example and charisma. It also means defining and designing a direction and then enabling others to reach the goal.

As we rummage our minds on the above reality checked leadership traits, characteristics and descriptive analysis, I want to challenge us as the young and old people of Edo state to tell ourselves the truth of the moment!! And that is the fact that if the 2024 Edo election must be for the APC to rescue the state, then Hon Dennis Idahosa is the working strategy in words and action to deliver us in Edo state.

Like the great Philosopher Plato said; “….theatrical Performance is inherently distanced from the reality and therefore unworthy”!!

Political Leadership is about serious strategies at solving challenges and not an opportunity for theatrics that’s opposite of the ” REALITY “!!

The reality at the moment for the future of Edo state lies in the dynamics of how and why we should join hands with the youngest aspirant of the moment, the most Politically tested and trusted with elective Political leadership position on behalf of his people at the federal and who has over time and till date delivery on good governance for his constituency!! Edo South, Central and Edo North, it’s time to rally around the “WINNING STRATEGY” For Edo 2024!!
