Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, two members-elect of the House of Representatives, who are aspiring for office of the Speaker have stepped from the race.
The duo, Aliyu Betara and Yusuf Gagdi agreed to stepdown for another aspirant, Tajuddeen Abbas, after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in Abuja.
