Dennis Idahosa bags master’s degree in legislative studies [PHOTOS]

Member representing Ovia federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Dennis Idahosa has bagged a master’s degree in legislative studies at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS).

On his social media handles today, Idahosa shared pictures of himself with dignitaries and colleagues at the ceremony.

In the picture captioned: MSc in Legislative Studies Done and Dusted” the lawmaker was seen with the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, VC of UNIBEN, Prof. Lilian Salami and host of others.

Elated with his feat, the lawmaker said: “To the glory of God, today I bagged Masters on Legislative Studies (MSc) from the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN) in collaboration with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies.

“I used the opportunity while representing the amazing people of Ovia to horn my skills in the workings of Parliamentary and Democratic Processes.

“With this new vista, my constituents are in for better opportunities as it has further equipped me in the act of legislative business.

“In a nutshell, the knowledge acquired would afford my constituents to enjoy more robust parliamentary debates and dividends of democracy.

“However, this wouldn’t have been possible without the active presence of God almighty. in addition, I wish to express my profound appreciation to my family for their encouragement and support, and also members of my constituency for their prayers.

“Lastly, let me use this opportunity to appreciate Prof. Lilian Salami, Prof. Attahiru Jega, Prof. Abubakar O Sulaiman, Dr. Edoba Omoregie SAN, Dr. Asimiyu Abiola, Dr. Osaretin Okungbowa and host of others for their mentorship and in-depth lectures.”
