The Nigeria Police Force recently dismissed a constable identified as Okoye for discreditable conduct.
The new video was shared on Facebook by the official page of the Nigerian Police force. Check out the screen capture of the post below;
We are here to attend to the case of a Police man who was caught in a viral video on 31s August, 2022 where he was flogging a Nigerian citizen with a machete”.
From the video that was shared above, you will clearly see a Senior Police officer announcing the dismissal of the Police officer.
According to his statement recently, The senior Police officer said; As from the today, The Police authority has dismissed Okoye and he has nothing to do with the Nigerian Police force”.
Additionally, The Senior officer said; “The Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba has also retreated his commitment to make sure we have sanity in the Nigerian Police force”.
Furthermore, The Senior Police officer said; “We have not sent any Police man out there to go and harrass any Nigerian citizen, to extort or to engage in any corrupt practices that can align to the standard of the Nigerian Police force. We are trying our best to make sure that we bring back the glory of the Nigerian Police force”.
