Former Governor of Oyo State, Victor Omololu Olunloyo is dead.
Infopowerng learned that Olunloyo passed on Friday afternoon at the age of 87 after a brief illness. He died at a hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
It was gathered that the mathematician ex-governor had been down with an ailment in the last few weeks and was receiving medical attention.
He was the governor of the old Oyo State in 1983 on the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) platform after he defeated the incumbent, Bola Ige of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN).
