Today, history was made as a Catholic priest, Reverend Father Edwin Chukwujekwu Obiorah was conferred as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
He was sworn in as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria with other new SANs today by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad at the Supreme Court premises.
The highly respected and revered catholic priest is well-known lawyer of high repute.
Revd Fr. Obiorah who was born on the 26th of June, 1955 is a native of Igbuala Village, Ifite-Ukpo in Anambra State.
The graduate of Philosophy and Divinity dream of becoming a priest came to reality when he was ordained a Priest of the Roman Catholic Church in 1985.
Reverend Father Obiorah graduated from the University of Nigeria in 1990 where he bagged an LL.B degree in Law and was called to bar a year later. He also has his Masters in Law(LL.M) degree at the prestigious University of Lagos where he specialized in Land Law and Securities.
