As Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-el-fitr, which marks the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, Member representing Ovia federal Constituency in National Assembly (NASS), Hon. Dennis Idahosa, has urged Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general, not to relent in their prayers for the country.
He particularly noted that God’s intervention was needed in the country in the face of the current security and other challenges ravaging the nation.
Idahosa, in a statement signed by his media aide, Friday Aghedo, congratulated the Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the fasting period.
He said, “While we celebrate Eid, We should not stop praying for Nigeria, our dear country, for God’s intervention against the current security and other challenges confronting us at the moment.”
Idahosa who said the current state of insecurity is worrisome, call on Security agencies to live up to their responsibilities.
