Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday, July 19, 2021 overruled a no-case submission made by former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, who is being prosecuted by the EFCC over a N29 billion fraud.
Others being prosecuted alongside the retired Vice Admiral are his son, Senator Abdul-Aziz Nyako; Abubakar Aliyu and Zulkifikk Abba.
They are being prosecuted on a 37-count charge of criminal conspiracy, stealing, abuse of office and money laundering to the tune of N29billion.
