2023: Group Seek Edo Support For Tinubu To Succeed Buhari

A political support group in Edo state, under the aegis of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT, has called on all members of the All Progressive Congress, APC to rally round the former Governor of Lagos and National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu as the right successor to President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023.

Edo state Coordinator of the group Hon Ogini Kings in a statement yesterday said Nigerians must not miss the opportunity to benefit from the political and economic sagacity of Tinubu to revamp the misfortune of the Nigeria.

He said as a group, the South/South will ensure that their mission to achieve the BAT agenda becomes a reality adding that South /South region is for Tinubu.

Ogini noted that the dream of a new Nigeria is possible adding that what Tinubu could do had been demonstrated when he held sway as Lagos state Governor.

“Our decision to back Tinubu is based on what we I have seen and which I know will be for the general good of the Country as a whole. Among all the governors of his time he has remain relevant in the political struggling of the country contributing to our Democratic journey.

“He has shown that he has the capacity to correct some of the ills bedeviling us as a nation owing to his pragmatic leadership.

“As a youth and a politicians we should put aside any sentiments to support Tinubu’ progressive idealogy to achieve our dreams of a better Nigeria.
